MF Set 2 - Jim Deacon

MF Set 2 is our recommended set. The following instruments have been tried and tested in nearly 30 high schools in the last year or so and have proved very popular and reliable. Our choice of equipment combined with our in-house quality control checks mean that, to date, there are over 180 of these sets in use - with ZERO reported problems!

These instruments are sourced from various suppliers to ensure the best specifications available for a set of equipment in the sub £1000 budget which complies with the quality and portability requirements of this project.

The set is suitable for 5 pupils and consits of:

	1 x Jim Deacon "Strat" electric guitar with strap, lead and gig bag. 20W amplifier with clean / distortion channels and reverb. View other guitars and other guitar amplifiers.

	1 x Jim Deacon P-Bass guitar with gig bag, strap, lead & spare strings and a 15W bass guitar amplifier. View other bass guitars and other bass guitar amplifiers.

	1 x Casio CTK-810 keyboard with 61 full size keys and 514 on board tones. Complete with PSU, stand, lead and gig bag. Internal amp & speakers. View other keyboards.

	1 x Roland HPD-10 electronic drum pad. Approx. 400 sounds, 10 individual pads with pressure sensing, D beam controller for sound / pitch / effects control. Use with Laney shown below. View other drum pads.

	1 x Vocopro microphone with lead and stand, for singing or rapping. Supplied with Laney AH50 multi-purpose amplifier combo with reverb. Extra channel available for other piece of equipment, i.e. boost the sound of electronic drums or keyboard or maybe plug in an Ipod! View other microphones and other multi-purpose amplifiers.

	1 x Sony CFDS03 CD / MP3 player with built-in amp & speakers. Allows pupils to share their favourite songs with each other, built-in cassette player may be used for simple recordings.
